DeLaval International announced today the next commercial installation of the DeLaval AMR™ which will be in Germany. “This is yet another significant step for DeLaval as we enter the German market with the AMR™. The latest release of the DeLaval voluntary milking system, the VMS 2010, was awarded “Agricultural Machine of the Year 2010” at the Polish agricultural trade fair Agrotech (March 12-14 2010).

DeLaval announced today that it will be back at EuroTier this fall, the world’s largest trade show dedicated to agriculture. “ We are delighted to showcase our latest technology that supports the needs of dairy farmers to increase their on-farm profitability ,” said DeLaval Vice President Marketing and Communications Benoit Passard. EuroTier 2010 will take place on November 16-19 in the German city of Hanover .
A smart feeding solution designed to help dairy farmers save up to 3 hours of labour a day, improve performance and significantly cut feeding and capital costs, is up and running in Sweden. This is the first complete DeLaval Optifeeding system, installed on a farm near the southern Swedish town of Månstad. “ Optifeeding is exactly what I was looking for: it had to be automatic, suitable for a large farm and reliable. I was glad to find it ,” dairy farmer Patrik Johansson said.

This week DeLaval will produce its 2500th unit of the new Feed Stations FSC40/400 – a solution created to help milk producers maintain greater control over production while reducing input costs.
DeLaval announced today that it has hit the 30 000 sales mark for its swinging cow brush, a self-grooming device that keeps cows happier, healthier and more productive. “The swinging cow brush is very popular among dairy farmers thanks to its many customer benefits. Definitely a DeLaval success story,” DeLaval Vice President Business Area Aftermarket & Services Tim Nicolaï said.
DeLaval makes history today by announcing the introduction of the world’s first ever automatic milking rotary, or DeLaval AMR™ as this new system will be known in the industry. “In December 2008 we said that we were developing an automated milking system for large herds and now we are ready to show it to the world,” DeLaval President and CEO Joakim Rosengren said.
DeLaval will unveil the industry first automatic milking rotary; the DeLaval AMR™, demonstrate feeding robots and launch a number of world premiers during the four day EuroTier event in Hannover (November 16-19).
