A DeLaval mixer wagon blends a balanced ration, regardless of the available feed ingredients or storage systems. It is perfect for long, short, wet and dry grass.
DeLaval mixer wagon can mix long straw and hay into an even, homogeneous ration. It uses three augers plus a specially constructed cutting device on the bottom auger.
DeLaval mixer wagon can also be used with Partly Mixed Ration (PMR) in combination with feeding stations and feed wagons.
DeLaval mixer wagon is equipped with a programmable electronic weighing system. The system can handle 50 recipes with 30 components and has independent battery back-up. This means your cows get exactly the right ration, without you having to remember the recipe each time you mix. You can also easily switch from one group of cows to another.
DeLaval mixer wagon is available in 8 m³, 12 m³ and 17 m³ capacities.
A silage cutter transfers feed to a belt conveyer, which unloads it. It can also be equipped with mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic brakes.
When many different feed types are used, complete mixing helps ensure the cow eats the right feed balance. A stable pH is also maintained in the rumen, reducing the risk of digestive disorders.
