Like many companies that start small and catapult to the top of their industries, Germania started as nothing more than a dream fueled by the passion of one man. This dream would eventually become the first all-air-operated automatic take-off. This one idea included the revolutionary pendulum-type milk flow sensor. That was 1973.
Just two years later, the product was selling across the United States. Two years after that, Germania outgrew its facilities for the second time and moved into a custom-built 10,000 square foot facility.
Throughout its history, Germania engineers were fanatical about quality. They approached the industry with a new perspective, dedicated to rethinking and re-engineering the process from the ground up. Not surprisingly, sales continued to grow astronomically.
Now we celebrate a new chapter… the mutually beneficial merger of DeLaval and Germania to form DeLaval Germania, we intend to take our passion to a new level, helping the best dairies become even better.
