A nutritious alliance
DeLaval and Cargill Animal Nutrition join forces
Cargill Animal Nutrition and DeLaval International AB have signed an agreement to market and promote complete nutritional solutions on a global scale for dairy producers. This new alliance gives producers access to complete, profitable feeding systems.
“With this agreement we can make sure that our customers have access to all the options available to meet their needs for profitable feeding systems,” says Fernando Mazeris, product portfolio director at DeLaval International AB. “While focusing on some specific product packages, we will leave open the possibility to mix and match products from both companies’ offerings.”
The alliance will benefit both companies by allowing them to expand the products and services they offer to their valued customers: Cargill supplies the feeds, nutritional supplements and advice while DeLaval installs and services the feeding equipment – working in cooperation to create solutions that meet the high demands of today’s modern dairy producer.
The Cargill Animal Nutrition product range is already available along with DeLaval automatic calf feeding systems in Italy and the USA. Spain and Portugal, Mexico, Canada and Russia will soon follow once the local agreements have been negotiated.
“Through this new alliance, both companies can leverage their respective knowledge on feeding and automation. Now we can offer new and profitable systems to dairy farmers all around the world, a true win-win situation for all involved,” adds Mazeris.
